Does anyone know for certain when Draco's birthday is?
I'm just wondering if "...marked by the dark lord..." could refer to Draco's
deatheater mark, but the prophecy says born as the seventh month closes....
so, when is Draco's birthday?

All I know for sure is that he is a Gemini. A friend made such a fuss about
it when it was revealed that I could hardly forget. Whatever month that is
I believe Dreaco's birthday is on the 16th

If it's true he's Gemini and it's true this 16th, it can only be June
16th : )

Draco was born on June 5 (according to Wikipedia et al.). In any event,
Dumbledore explicitly stated that the prophecy could refer only to either
Harry or Neville.

Uh, you're forgetting the "whose parents have thrice defied the Dark Lord"
bit.

Well, Lucius sent Voldy's Horcrux back to Hogwarts against his wishes
and didn't do too well at the Ministry either. And then Narcissa asked
Snape to help Draco when Voldy wanted him to fail (we believe.) Is
that three defiances?

I like the idea if it wasn't that, as others have shown, the birthday
is wrong.

And when would have his parents defied Voldemort three times?

Luscius and the Diary is it. twice if you count Lucius not coming to
find V. But that's only two, and the last everybody did anyway, and
therefore can't be counted, can it? That's more of a freebie, through
necessity.

The Diary wasn't really a defiance. Voldemort obviously never told Lucius
what it was, and it seems he did intend for it to be used just as it was. I
doubt Voldemort gave Lucius specific instructions regarding it.

But even if we are so silly to consider this whole idea, all of that was
_after_ Draco was born.

The Prophecy said that the one would be born to parents who had thrice
defied Voldemort. Of course, we can simply say that we didn't hear about
anything that happened before then, so maybe they had.

But that's just pushing the argument into obscurity. There's no evidence to
support it, and JKR has contradicted it.
