SERIOUS BREACH OF STATUTE OF SECRECY!
Newt Scamandar cited in Muggle Journal expounding existence of dragons!

We have today witnessed a very serious breach of the Statute of
Secrecy, as the widely recognised Muggle journal, "Nature" (a so-called
"science" journal), has published evidence proving that dragons are not
merely a figment of Muggle imaginations, but actual, living creatures.
This, however, is not the end of it -- the Muggle authors of the
article have evidently had access to the popular text book by Newt
Scamander, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them":

The shift in societal views of dragons from reality to
fantasy has been described by some as a kind of bewitchment.
Newt Scamander suggests that there was a deliberate policy
among those of a ‘magical’ persuasion to hide the creatures.
This is thought to have taken the form of casting a neuro-
transfer spell that translocates all information on magical
phenomena held in the brain to a small lobe of the neocortex
exclusively reserved for imaginative thought.”
Hamilton, May and Waters, "Here be dragons", _Nature_, 2015-04-01

The Ministry of Magic currently appears to be in complete disorder, the
Minister is unavailable for comment, and several lead Aurors declined
to speak to reporters for the Daily Prophet as the Aurors were leaving
the Ministry in a hurry ...

Full details pages 4, 5, 7, 11, 12 and 13.

Other breeches of security: Dumbledore arranging to publish "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", and "Quidditch Through The Ages" in the Muggle World!

Not to mention the very publication of the Harry Potter series!
