Did Rickman base Snape's voice on Riff Raff from RHPS?

Just kidding. :-)

Apologies to those who have sworn their undying love to Rickman.

But I DO think Rickman and Richard O'Brien sound similar......

From www.imdb.com, it says when O'Brien wrote "Rocky Horror Picture Show," he
based Tim Curry's character on Alice Cooper.

It also said O'Brien was in the 2000 "Dungeons and Dragons" and the 1988
"Wolves of Willoughby Chase."

they do sound a little similar, however, if you'd seen a lot of Alan's
stuff, you would know that that is his natural voice and not modeled
for the role.

Let's not forget that Richard O'Brien was in "Dark City"(1998), one of
my favorite films.

And in my opinion, he's still the perfect choice to play Lord Voldemort.....

Lenona.
I've always thought Argus Filch and Riff Raff sound uncannily similar.
Especially the "Oh, dear- we *are* in trouble" line.
